Systems Administrator

Place of work: Szczecin, Poland

Position overview:

A person in this position will be taking care of widely understood IT administration including:

  •  administration of Linux and Windows environments
  •  setup of scalable and highly accessible production environments
  •  setup, administration and maintenance of test and production environments
  •  maintenance of office infrastructure ( virtualization, SAN, LAN network)
  •  monitoring of IT infrastructure, reacting to malfunctions, cooperation with the development team

Requirements:

  • very good knowledge of Linux system and/or Windows
  • good knowledge of provisioning (preferably Ansible)
  • knowledge of script languages such as bash, Python or powershell
  • knowledge of virtualization systems (preferably Citrix Xenserver, VMware)
  • knowledge of Apache, Nginx, Haproxy,
  • experience in configuration and maintenance of monitoring systems (Zabbix, Munin, Grafana)
  • good knowledge of network protocols
  • teamwork ability

Additional assets:

  • experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, GIT)
  • experience in usage of CDN (Cloudflare, Akamai or others)
  • experience in configuration of cloud services (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean or others)
